All of these weapons are not necessary to have on hand, but they make for a nice range of options. Of the three, though, Rivers of Blood is the most usable, so go for that one at the very least. While other Greatshields have this same Weapon Art, the Dragonclaw Shield offers the best damage of the lot, even dealing a small amount of Lightning damage on top of the physical. Morgott’s Great Rune is a bit more straightforward. It will greatly buff a player’s health, by a multiplicative of 25 percent. What’s even better is that this effect can even take place after players have used buffs and talismans to gain additional health, making the effect even stronger.

Using Mohg’s Great Rune will apply the Blessing of Blood to any of the player’s summoned Spirit Ashes .
